After all of the excitement yesterday we decided to stay closer to Manly today, we walked up on to North Head, the headland on the northern side of the mouth of Sydney harbour. There is a sanctuary that occupies the site of a former army base.
We went to the former quarantine station for Sydney, now preserved, then up to a café overlooking the harbour entrance before walking back to Manly as the wind got up.
Sun out now, still in shorts and t shirts.
