I,m sure I must be getting grumpy, but Christmas trees in Heathrow Terminal 2 at the start of November,  Bah Humbug.
Good flight with Singapore Airlines but didn't really sleep.
Arrived safely in Singapore after the first leg of our new journey, hot and humid but not raining this time. Got to the hotel safely around 9.00am local time only to discover that check in didn't start until 2.00pm!
Very fortunately the receptionist managed to find a room for us and by 9.15 we were both out for the count. Have just woken up and intend to go out for a walk to the Botanic Gardens.
